Katsucon aka SickCon!!!

So I'm sitting in my Photoshop class wondering why I have to take it in the first place, so I figured I'd post my Katsucon blog. Hmmm, what to say about Katsucon. It was definitely SickCon (and not in a good way), but also return of LineCon as well. Play by plays beneath the cut.
Thursday
Thursday, got together with Ryan and Jamme and drove down to meet Regena and everyone else in the room. GPS was acting fucking wacko and took us in the wrong direction about 80 times. Finally we got there, it was FREEZING, and we missed pre-reg pickup. Oh wellz. Thursday was spent basically doing last minute prep for cosplay. I was working on my belt for Tsubaki, which I was hammering and we got security called on us. How do you say lame in Otaku? IT'S A FUCKING CONVENTION! NO ONE SLEEPS. Anywho, ended up falling asleep at around 3.
Friday
Woke up really early w/ Jamme and Ryan to get in line for our badges. The line wasn't that bad for us, despite the fact that they had no real way of separating pre-reg from non-prereg. It was worse in the evening though. Anywho, dressed up in my Tsubaki and walked around for a bit. Saw an ex friend who tried to act like we were still cool. I didn't waste any time being bitter about it, so I just hugged him. Went to hang out with Kyle and Toki for a bit then met an adorable new Toki and a cool kid named Ricky. Went to AA then the Dealers Room, where we saw ex friend again. Jamme goes up to him and goes "HIII, I'm JENNIFERRR, betch" (inside joke) to which his face was utterly priceless. After that, chilled with Dar and Ryan. Changed into my Yoruichi then met up with Brandon. We chilled and did what cool kids did and took a million hour nap. Woke up, got ready for the rave and pre-gamed with the crew. Mike and Ryan got trashed which led to interesting events. The rave wasn't that great so I headed to the game room and sang on Rockband for a while. After that, ran into Kevin and came to a truce with him, so to speak. Afterwards, sleep.
Saturday
Nothing really interesting for Saturday. Ryan got ill and couldn't stay which was a bummer. Also, Nikko wasn't able to make it because he too got sick =// Dressed as Tsubai again and went to the MASSIVE SOUL EATER PHOTOSHOOT GAHHH!! It was really cold outside, but all of the awesome people made it worth it. Got a couple of good shots, just waiting on them. After that happened, I changed into my SnJ Anbu Kakashi for a very short time and hung out with Brandon again. There was quite a lack of things to do at the con this year, so the majority of it was spent walking around. Took another nap, woke up and went to Regena's room and hung out. We sat around watching Real World and making fun of the tranny girl lol. One of the roomies (Zach I believe) found a flyer for "Sexy Sailor Sluts Scandal" or something like that and took Jamme and Mike along to see if it was legit or not. Turns out, it wasn't haha. Afterwards,Regena, Brandon and I walked around looking at all the Valentines Day Ball people. THEN Brandon bought me a plush rape tentacle for Valentines Day. How sweet right? LOL. Didn't get a lot of swag this year, but Brandon got me the things I wanted most. Nothing much after that except Valentines Day activities and sleep.
Sunday
End of the con. Nothing happened really except for pack up. Said goodbye to almost everyone then headed out. Later on, I got really sick x_X

Overall, the con could have been much better with more events and better space. There was literally no room to move around or to take decent photos. The only thing that made the con enjoyable were the people, of course. Shout Outs go to the Roomates: Regena, Ryan (sorry you couldn't stay ><), Jamme and everyone else whom I've forgotten the names of. You guys were awesome. Big shout outs to Nikko! I'm so sorry that you couldn't make it =/. My favorite party monster Kyle, ALL THE COOL KIDS AT THE MASSIVE SOUL EATER SHOOT!! Brandon for hanging with me and being sweet. that one kid, for trying to make me jealous (next time try with a girl that doesn't look like a dude^^). Darin and Larry, sorry I didn't get to chill with you all as much. Devin, it was good seeing you again! Also, all the new friends I met at the con!
